This book provides an introduction to puberty for boys and briefly discusses all aspects, both physical and emotional, of the process of moving from childhood to adulthood.  Published under the auspices of the American Medical Association, it is formatted as a series of questions that a prospective teen may ask, with answers provided by a family physician.  Overall, the tone is one of "you are not alone" and encourages the reader to seek appropriate adult advice if their questions need further explanation.  The discussions cover all facets such as eating, exercise, height, weight, the reproductive system, feelings, relationships, sex, and so on.  The accompanying cartoon drawings seem silly and inappropriate at times but the information is straightforward and helpful.
