This story shows how peer pressure may sometimes lead to harmful behavior. Luis starts doing things he does not normally do in an attempt to be accepted by the "cool" kids at school. He starts to steal, lie, bully, copy homework, smoke and drink beer to impress his new friends. Luis invites the twins to his house while his parents are away for a party that starts to get out of control. Luis feels "cool" until things go wrong and he gets in trouble with his parents, the kids at school, his teacher, and the police. He finds that there can be serious consequences for such negative behavior and that being "cool" come with consequences. This book also contains questions and suggestions to provide guidance on how to avoid making bad decisions as a result of peer-pressure.
