CHILD BEHAVIOR EDUCATIONAL BOOKS AND
VIDEOS
Most children or teens exhibit poor
behavior from time to time, which is
normal. However when kids or teens
display defiant, aggressive or
harmful behaviors or disorders,
intervention is necessary.
Behavioral problems can lead to
problems with peers, personal
relationships, and the overall
quality our life. Improper behavior
presents challenges to parents,
teachers, caregivers and peers. Kids
and toddlers with unmanaged behavior
can grow up to face serious problems
later in life. That is why it is
important to help your child learn
behavior management in appropriate
ways from an early age.
Typical behaviors of a child with chronic behavioral problems include talking
back, constantly picking fights, chronic anger, disrespect, defiance, and being
mean-spirited. These kids get in trouble in school and pose serious challenges
to parents, teachers and caregivers. Some children exhibit Oppositional Defiant
Disorder (ODD), the defiance, hostility and refusal to comply with the entire
family, teachers and caregivers. ODD is one of the toughest of all parenting
challenges. Some kids require anger management training while others exhibit
behavioral problems as a side affect of a larger problem such as ADHD or Autism.
Some of our educational books and videos address the fundamentals of child
behavior management while others deal with more advanced child behavior problems
and offer solutions. Our Child Behavior Resources Store has lots of books and
videos here to help control your child's behavior!
